Hilary Duff receives a hug from Ashley Tisdale after going out of her way during the LA rainstorm to drop off her ‘famous’ homemade sourdough bread
Hilary Duff sure knows how to take care of a girlfriend.
The 36-year-old pregnant actress was spotted handing a pink-wrapped loaf of bread to her longtime friend Ashley Tisdale at a gas station in Los Angeles on Tuesday.
The Lizzie McGuire star also gave her High School Musical boyfriend a hug from her car window as they said goodbye on a rainy day.
The two have been friends for years and have bonded over parenthood.
Hilary already has three children – son Luca, 11, as well as five-year-old daughter Mae and two-year-old Banks – and is expecting a fourth.
Ashley, 38, has one, a daughter named Jupiter Iris French, aged two.
Duff and Tisdale are also in the same parent group as Mandy Moore and Meghan Trainor, and meet regularly for power brunches.

Ashley took to social media to thank Hilary for the bread, which was wrapped in a pink cloth.
“When Hilary Duff makes you her famous sourdough bread, you’ll meet her halfway when the rain tried to keep you from it,” she captioned a photo of the bread.
In August, Hilary opened up about what brought the group of celebrity moms together.
Speaking to InStyle, she said, “I feel like I was kind of a ring leader because I’ve had kids before, and they were all trying to have their first child,” she explained.
“We’re obviously very close, and we have our true thread that lives on… It was so weird that we all had babies at the same time.”
She said the timing “was a very happy coincidence” and that “you don’t have to be famous to be in the group.”
In 2022, Moore told InStyle that she was happy to be in Duff’s “cool mom club.”
“Hilary is the coolest and she’s a super mom,” she said.
“She and Matt (Koma) have become really good friends with my husband (Taylor Goldsmith) and I,” she added.
“But they have a kid who’s six weeks younger than Gus. And so we had babies at the same time and she, being the super mom that she is, formed a cool mom club.
“Somehow I got invited to it and it’s the best,” Moore continued. ‘I’ve made so many great friends. We all got together earlier this week and had dinner and had baby classes together and it’s incredible.”

In December 2023, Duff announced she was expecting her fourth child — her third child she shares with husband Matthew Koma, 36.
In mid-December she shared the happy news with a hilarious Christmas card.
The photo showed her posing with the singer-songwriter and their two daughters and Duff’s son Luca, 11, who she shares with her ex-husband Mike Comrie.
Also on the card were Duff and Koma’s five-year-old daughter Mae and two-year-old Banks.
The greeting on the card read: ‘So long for Silent Nights.’
On the back there were pictures of all the kids and they wrote: ‘Hold Buttercups, we’re adding one more to this crazy bunch.’
The expectant couple tied the knot in 2019 after three years of dating.
Duff was previously married to Comrie, a 43-year-old former NHL player, from 2010 to 2016.
Hilary confirmed the pregnancy rumors and revealed she was expecting another baby with Koma. She has son Luca, 11, from her last marriage to her ex-husband
