The actress, 35, paired her spaghetti strap dress with black sunglasses and ankle boots, a brown bag and a simple silver necklace.

The Disney star’s daughter, Banks Violet, 4, wore a beautiful floral dress with pink boots and clutched her water bottle.

Hilary carried Banks’ pale pink bag as she walked hand-in-hand with her daughter on the way back to their car after spending some quality time together.

The actress has two other children: son Luca Cruz, 11, with first husband Mike Comrie, and daughter Mae James, 2, with current husband Matthew Koma.

She and Matthew, 36, have been married since late 2019. They started dating in January 2017.

Hilary previously dated Good Charlotte frontman Joel Madden, who is now married to Nicole Richie, and Aaron Carter, who passed away in 2022.

Hilary seemed in good spirits despite the recent cancellation of her television show How I Met Your Father.

The show was canceled by Hulu after just two seasons. Hilary played main character Sophie and was accompanied by Francia Rasia and Kim Cattral from Sex and the City, among others.

It was a spin-off of CBS hit How I Met Your Mother, a sitcom that followed Ted Moseby on his journey to meet the mother of his children.

Hilary has remained tight-lipped about whether she has any future projects lined up.

However, fans will be hoping that now that she is unexpectedly free, there is a chance of renegotiations over the Lizzie Mcguire reboot.

In 2014, Hilary had stated that she would be open to revisiting the character that made her famous in 2021.

Discussions began in 2018 and in the summer of 2019 the reboot was confirmed by Disney.

However, in 2020, things started to fall apart and the reboot was canceled due to disagreements between Hilary and the showrunners.
