Hilary Duff opted for a casual cool look as she went to lunch with her son Luca on Saturday.

The 35-year-old actress rocked a black sundress, white sneakers and a Christian Dior crossbody bag for the outing.

The Lizzie McGuire star – who recently revealed she’s inspired by Gwyneth Paltrow’s diet – accessorized with a pair of sunglasses, gold hoops and a matching gold necklace.

The mother of three wore her light blonde locks parted down the middle and tied back in a bun.

Hilary took her 11-year-old son to the Yeastie Boys food truck before going to a baseball game.

Weekend lunch: Hilary Duff opted for a casual cool look as she went to lunch on Saturday with her 11-year-old son Luca – who she shares with ex Mike Comrie, 42 –

Luca wore a black football uniform for the lunchtime outing.

The singer shares Luca with her ex-husband, former professional ice hockey player Mike Comrie, 42, who she was married to from 2010 to 2016.

She also shares Banks Violet, four, and Mae James, two, with husband Matthew Koma, 35.

The Texas-born star married Koma in 2019 at her home in LA.

Duff was also pictured with a cup of coffee in hand, having recently admitted that she drinks caffeine in the morning to “satisfy my hunger.”

She shared that she looks to Paltrow, 50, for inspiration when it comes to staying slim.

The Disney Channel alum revealed on the Lipstick on the edge podcast this week that she often skips breakfast to keep her hunger at bay.

“Sometimes I try – you know, Gwyneth is in trouble for saying this – but sometimes I just try to drink coffee in the morning and satisfy my hunger,” she told host Molly Sims.

Earlier this year, Paltrow, 50, was accused of promoting “starvation” after sharing that she relies on a diet of mostly bone broth and vegetables, along with intermittent fasting.

Duff explained that she tries to avoid starting her day off with a meal because she often wakes up “really hungry.”

But sometimes she bends the rules while packing school lunches for her three kids.

“If we’re being honest, yes, I eat a chicken nugget in the morning while I’m packing packed lunches and there’s one left. Drop it through the hatch!’ Duff said.

The Raise Your Voice actress insisted she takes in “a lot of calories” throughout the day.

She leans toward “super clean,” nutritious foods and even incorporates plant-based options into her menu.

Right now, Duff is “obsessed” with cauliflower rounds that she often tops with avocado or vegan sausage, and overnight oats are a staple in her fridge.

Duff is also an avid fitness enthusiast, hitting the gym four to five times a week.

She told Sims that her personal trainer has her doing high-intensity interval training in addition to lifting weights.

She gave her fans a close look at her enviably toned figure as she graced the January 2023 cover of Women’s Health Australia.

She shared more details about her workout regimen and how “macro-counting” has kept her in shape while still enjoying the foods she loves.

Duff can still eat things like “chocolate and bread,” as long as she keeps track of how much protein, carbs, and fat she’s getting on a daily basis.
