Hilary Duff started her Friday with a very relatable message. She went grocery shopping with her youngest child, daughter Mae James, two.
The busy mother of three kept it casual in a t-shirt with a setting sun and palm trees on the front, black leggings and trainers.
The Younger star, 35, wore her long blonde hair loose and tousled as she carried her toddler on her hip and her Trader Joe’s shopping bag in her other hand.
Mae appeared to be wearing pink pajamas with red hearts on the long-sleeved top and jogging-style bottoms.
The Lizzie McGuire alum is also mum to son Luca Cruz, 11, with her then husband Mike Comrie and daughter Banks Violet, four with her current husband Matthew Koma.

The How I Met You Father star’s grocery run came on the same day news of her second children’s book was revealed.
The picture book My Little Sweet Boy is a sequel to her 2021 New York Times bestseller, My Little Brave Girl.
“Inspiring young boys to be both gentle and strong, this wonderful book explores the pitfalls and triumphs of childhood,” reads the book’s synopsis.
“Duff fills the pages with wishes for her own son and encourages boys everywhere to embrace all that life has to offer.”
Duff shared an image of the book’s cover on Instagram, captioning it: “In 2021, I wrote a picture book inspired by my little brave daughter. I’m so excited to announce the sequel, inspired by my journey with my son!’
My Little Sweet Boy will be in bookstores on November 7.
Last month, Hilary and her family celebrated Mae’s two-year-old birthday.
It comes after Hilary took to her Instagram stories in March to wish her daughter Mae a happy second birthday.

The actress shared several photos of Mae for her youngest daughter’s special day.
She started the group of photos with a shot of her oldest daughter Banks, four, sitting on her pregnant belly while all three were covered in marker drawings.
Hilary captioned the photo, “When our lives were a little less noisy @matthewkoma.”
The next photo shows Hilary holding Mae as a newborn with Matthew beside her after cutting the star’s umbilical cord and placenta in a bag.

In that photo, she said, “Happy birthday, my Mae,” and added a bear-faced emoji.
She followed it up with a boomerang shot of her and Mae in the pool smiling for the camera.
Another photo included a picture of Mae in a highchair as she went to eat a small tomato.
