Hilary Duff enjoyed a girls’ night out on Broadway to see her good friend Lea Michele star as Fannie Brice in Funny Girl.
The actress/singer dressed up before heading out with her friends to watch Michele wow the audience with her singing and dancing in a revival of the musical.
Duff and her ladies then headed backstage to catch up with Michele, which was documented on their respective Instagram accounts on Saturday.

‘Lea, what a delight to see you in this role! You shine so bright… it was made for you! @funnygirlbwy @leamichele,’ Duff, 35, said in the post of her that included four photos.
Michele, 36, was quick to reply, writing: “I love you, daughter.” [red heart emoji]’
For the cover of her slideshow, the How I Met Your Father star shared a snap of her and her Broadway crew hanging out with Michele after the stage call.
Showing off her fabulous figure in a chic high-necked dress and white boots, Duff had one arm around her friend Lauren and the other arm around the star of the show.
Michele could be seen flashing a big smile in a sleek black dress as she posed alongside Hannah Lieberman and Molly Bernard.

The four women also huddled up for another pre-show photo taken outside, with all of them bundled up in their coats and jackets.
In keeping with the rest of her ensemble, Duff opted to wear a shaggy brown coat, while her long blonde locks flowed past her shoulder and down the middle of her back with a center parting.
Once inside the August Wilson Theatre, Duff took a photo of herself excitedly holding the Funny Girl sign and matching mug.
The former Glee star would go on to share three images from her post-show reunion with her friends, including one of the five ladies arm in arm, much like Duff’s photo.

Dear Friends, Michele, a native of the Bronx, New York, also shared a series of snaps from her girls’ night out on her Instagram page after the show.
She simply wrote ‘Friends at @funnygirlbwy’ in the caption, along with a red heart emoji.
The actress and singer, who hails from the Bronx, New York, also rubbed cheeks with Lauren (@lowenban) in an adorable photo taken in front of the Funny Girl stage.
There’s also another image of the five women posing together that she simply wrote, ‘@funnygirlbwy,’ at the top.
Michele took on the role of Fannie Brice from Beanie Feldstein, who received less than fantastic reviews in early September.
“A dream come true is an understatement,” the actress said after the announcement that she would join the cast in July 2022. “I am incredibly honored to join this incredible cast and production and return to the stage as Fanny Brice on Broadway. See you on September 6. @funnygirlbwy #FUNNYGIRL’

And then in November, some six weeks into her run in the musical, the leading lady revealed another achievement that is also something she had dreamed of since she was a child.
‘A dream come true on top of an already amazing dream come true! Our original @funnygirlbwy cast album,’ she gushed on Instagram.
This latest version of Funny Girl opened at the August Wilson Theater on Broadway on April 24.
The semi-biographical plot is based on the life and career of Broadway star, film actress and comedian Fanny Brice, and features her stormy relationship with businessman and gambler Nick Arnstein.
Led by Michele, Funny Girl broke an all-time box office record at the August Wilson Theater for the week ending Dec. 18, grossing $2,005,696.80, according to just jared.
Mean Girls had held the house record, earning $1,994,386 in 2018.
