- A DoorDash driver was attacked by a herd of cows
- The dramatic chase took place in Whitewater, Wisconsin
- Payton Zech, 28, was on his way back into town for his next DoorDash pickup when the herd of cows caused chaos on a highway
This is the terrifying and hilarious moment a herd of cows chased a DoorDash driver down a country road in Wisconsin.
Payton Zech, 28, was heading back to town on a highway in Whitewater, Wisconsin, when he encountered the surprising obstacle.
He saw a dizzying line of cars in the distance and mysterious shadows on the road and stopped to investigate the situation.
After he moved out of the way, the herd of cows began charging toward Zech’s vehicle, causing him to panic.
“I don’t know what to do in this situation,” Zech said WKOW.

Zech quickly put his car in reverse and hurriedly began to reverse.
He thought to himself, “I’m just going backwards, I guess.”
Eventually, Zech said, another car pulled up behind him, forcing him to turn his car sideways and brace for the expected impact if the cows chose to charge into the vehicle.
Luckily for Zech (and his next DoorDash customer), the cows stopped and he was able to continue his work through the night.
DoorDash drivers have seen countless bizarre things on the job, but “dashers” can be controversial and bizarre themselves.
In 2021, a female DoorDash driver was caught on camera stealing a family’s eight-week-old puppy during a delivery in Michigan.
The 26-year-old woman was caught putting down a bag of food and then petting the terrier named Bella on the porch of the Detroit-area home.
After petting the puppy a few times, the unnamed perpetrator picks up the dog, walks to her car and drives away.
Bella’s owner Ashley Swinton said: “You can see her petting the dog, (and) rubbing the dog to see if it’s evil. Then pick up the dog and take it to her car.”

Another DoorDash customer got saliva in his takeout after the delivery person was caught spitting on the food in disgusting revenge for a ‘small tip’.
Elias Crisanto, 13, ordered food for himself and his mother to be delivered to their Miami apartment. The teen left his DoorDash delivery person a $3 tip, which he said was “good” for the driver’s half-mile trip.
Crisanto saw the delivery happen in real time through the Ring doorbell camera, and it seems normal at first.
The delivery person, a man wearing a casual outfit of flip-flops and shorts, approached the door and placed the food down before taking a photo to prove the food had been delivered.
But in one disgusting moment, captured on Ring camera footage, you see the DoorDasher crouch down to spit on the food, not once or twice but three times.
