Hilarious moment very inappropriate comment blares out across speakers as middle-aged woman takes mic at Florida council meeting
A council meeting in Florida erupted into laughter after a highly inappropriate comment came over the loudspeakers as a middle-aged woman stepped up to the microphone.
The bizarre moment occurred Tuesday during a meeting of the Seminole County Board of County Commissioners in the city of Sanford.
Before the meeting began, Chairman Jay Zembower reminded attendees to turn off their cell phones.
About halfway through the hour meeting, Zembower introduced Community Service Director Allison Thall to the stage to discuss the annual report on affordable housing.
During a meeting of the Seminole County Board of County Commissioners on Tuesday, Community Services Director Allison Thall (left) was rudely interrupted by an inappropriately recorded comment
As Thall, 61, prepared her presentation and introduced herself, a robotic male voice said, “Older women are often perceived as difficult to get aroused.”
The embarrassing moment, which appears to come from a commissioner on the board, begins with Thall taking the stage and saying, “Good morning commissioners, thank you.”
“Let me make sure I’m going in the right direction here,” she says, fiddling with a small black remote in her hand and looking at a screen.
After she settles in, the director introduces herself and says, “For the record, Allison Thall, director of community services….”
She is soon interrupted by the random recording as Thall’s face turns serious before she and others start laughing.
A woman shouts: ‘Whatttt? What do you say???’
Thall continues to chuckle as she asks, “Are you talking about me?”
You see the audience laughing and talking to each other about the shocking moment before Commissioner Lee Constantine looks at Thall and says, “That was a good presentation!”
As Thall prepared her presentation using a remote control and introduced herself, a robotic male voice said, “Older women are often seen as difficult to engage.”
Meanwhile, Zembower is seen holding his hands over his mouth in disbelief, while other council members can’t help but laugh.
Someone then asks, “Where does the at come from?”
Constantine replies, “I don’t know,” while Commissioner Amy Lockhart says the same.
“I will remember this day forever and ever,” Commissioner and Vice-President Andria Herr shouts into her microphone.
Zembower then calls Constantine and says, “Would IT please handle Commissioner Constantijn’s technology?”
‘I think you should just deal with Commissioner Constantine. I don’t think it’s the technology,” Lockhart says as people giggle.
Lockhart then looks at Constantine and says, “You must have touched something,” as he responds with, “I touched that” while pressing a button on a laptop keyboard.
Once the laughter finally subsides, Zembower quickly moves the meeting and gives Thall a chance to speak again.
Commissioner Lee Constantine appeared to be playing the recording from his laptop as Thall (pictured) spoke
“Okay, Mrs. Thall, let’s try this again,” he says. “And believe me, I’m sure this wasn’t directed at you.”
Thall replies, “Okay, I’m not sure if I should say thank you or…” as the room is once again filled with laughter.
“I wasn’t sure where that was going,” Thall says.
“None of us did that, we all said, ‘stop it already,'” Zembower says.
“That was great, thank you,” Thall says before moving on to her intended agenda.
DailyMail.com contacted Thall and the Seminole County office for comment.
According to the province’s website, the meetings are held on the second and last Tuesday of the month at 9:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.
