Hilarious moment golfer Charley Hull grants a fan’s VERY unusual request – after she went viral for smoking on the course

Charley Hull, the world’s No. 8 female golfer, reflects on her viral moment from the US Women’s Open.

The 28-year-old Briton, who smoked a cigarette while signing autographs last month, this week granted a fan’s request to sign a very special item during the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship.

“Can you sign my dart?” the fan was heard asking Hull in a clip on social media.

“I don’t know how to do that, but I just put CH in there,” she said, chuckling and smiling.

It comes a month after Hull was filmed signing autographs with a lit cigarette in her mouth at Lancaster Country Club, prompting comparisons to John Daly.

“It’s actually quite funny,” she told reporters at the time.

‘I don’t know, a whole cigarette I think. But I actually walked to the beach and had my hands full. Someone asked me for an autograph and I’m not going to say no because I always enjoy signing autographs,” she continued.

“I just had a cigarette in my mouth, signed it and then it went viral. Don’t know. It’s just one of those things. It was crazy.’

She also revealed the cheeky way fans tried to pick her up after her viral moment.

“The fans have been shouting my name this week,” she explained. ‘Someone said I had dropped something and then gave his telephone number on a piece of paper in my hand.

‘I thought that was so funny, it was like, “Here’s my number, text me so we can find out where I’m taking you to dinner tonight.”

Hull, who reportedly split from Geordie Shore star Gaz Beadle last week, added: “Obviously I never texted them. But it was just so funny. It was a bit of a wild week, pretty cool and I wish the crowd was like that more often.”

Earlier this month one A source told The Sun: ‘It’s a shame really, but being in a full-on relationship was just too difficult. Charley is super busy with work and Gaz has a lot to do too.’

The insider added: ‘He’s trying to juggle seeing his kids with work – and it’s all been a bit much.’

“They had a lot of fun and will probably play golf together again if the opportunity arises.”

Beadle shares two children with his estranged wife, Emma McVey.
