Former NFL running back Rashad Jennings failed at an easy opportunity to win a ‘Wheel of Fortune’ puzzle this week.

The former footballer, who played in the league for seven seasons, appeared on Wednesday’s episode of ‘Celebrity Wheel of Fortune’ but suffered a humiliating blunder when faced with a puzzle involving famed film director Quentin Tarantino.

Given the chance to complete the puzzle, the 38-year-old only needed one letter, “Q,” to fill in Tarantino’s first name and spell “DRIVING TO RENO WITH QUENTIN TARANTINO” for the rhyme time category of the game.

But the ex-NFLer fumbled as he confidently shouted out “P” after his spin hit the $600 mark.

Of course, his confidence was shockingly misplaced when host Pat Sajak said, “No, no, I’m sorry, no.”

You could even hear the crowd laughing at Jennings, who played for the Rashad Jennings Foundation and had $4,050 in his bank account.

Jennings himself managed to see the funny side when he teased his appearance on the game show, telling his followers, “You’ll definitely laugh.”

His failure thoroughly entertained social media, as users mocked him mercilessly on X, formerly known as Twitter.

“Even if he doesn’t know who that is, to guess something other than a Q, like… do you know the rules of the game you’re currently playing?” asked one bewildered user.

“Rashad Jennings is the worst Wheel of Fortune player of all time!” another joked, while another claimed: ‘This hurt my feelings.’

“The way he says P makes me cry with laughter, he knew it was wrong and he was about to get flamed,” wrote another.

Meanwhile, someone cruelly joked, “Some athletes get through school because of… athletics.”

Jennings appeared alongside former defensive ends Marcellus Wiley and Jared Allen as they competed for a chance to win $1 million for a charity of their choice.

Jennings won Dancing with the Stars season 24, debating whether football or dance is harder

This isn’t the first time Jennings has competed in a celebrity televised competition, as he won Dancing with the Stars season 24.

And during his appearance on Wheel of Fortune, he debated which was more difficult; dancing or football.

“I had never danced a day in my life (before DWTS),” Jennings told Sajak. ‘I didn’t know anything about being on screen.

‘True story: My partner, Emma Slater, said, “Rashad, let’s get into the picture” and I went like this (gesturing as I put his arm around her). I thought she wanted to take a picture. I didn’t know anything about dance. But I had a blast.”
