Body camera video shows only the officer’s shadow walking into the driveway as the small dog, who appears to weigh less than 20 pounds, barks incessantly on the front lawn as he runs.
The amused deputy is heard saying calmly: ‘What’s up Toto?’ ‘What’s up Toto?’ while the puppy continues to bark.
The deputy assesses the situation and then calls out, ‘Let me see if I can open this door,’ as he walks to the back of the house. One of the commands he tells the dog is: ‘Come on for a bit.’

The officer is heard telling the second dog to “back off,” as the pup follows.
The officer then closes the door and he secures it by making sure the pup doesn’t run away again.
Once the officers have the dog back in the owner’s yard, he reaches down to pick up some white decorative stones and places them in front of the fence before heading back to his patrol car.
