This is the hilarious moment when a kid who couldn’t find a napkin at a rehearsal dinner decided to use the bride’s dress to wipe her face instead.
Images of the funny scene were shared on TikTok and captured the adorable two-year-old grabbing a piece of the bride’s white dress as she tried to clean her face.
Fortunately, the gorgeous bride, who was believed to live in the US, saw the funny side and laughed with her guests at the funny moment.
In a follow-up video online, the child’s mother explained that the child did not attend the actual ceremony on the big day and was instead left with a babysitter.
But several social media users were outraged at the time, explaining that it would encourage them to have child-free weddings.
The child eschewed the napkins lying on tables and instead wiped her face on the white dress
The five-second clip was tagged #Bridalfail with the caption, “Don’t recommend serving ketchup with the chicken nuggets and fries for the kids’ meal…or just don’t invite kids.”
The TikTok video has been viewed 1.6 million times, with one user simply responding, “No kids at my wedding.” Another said, “And this is exactly why I’m having a child-free wedding.”
A third commented, “I would never speak to the child’s parents again.” While another ranted, “I used to not understand when people said there were no children at their wedding, but I think I understand now.”
Another pointed out that there were cutlery napkins in the background that the child could have used.
Others, however, were quick to remind commenters that it was all about the dress for the rehearsal dinner, not the wedding dress for the special day.
The woman from the US wore a beautiful white dress with which the child smeared their face all over
Most said the child should have known not to do this, but some blamed the parents for allowing it
“Guys, the bride is chilly. There’s no need to ruin the energy in the reactions,” someone emphasized.
“It’s a funny story and a video for the memories. Baby didn’t understand. You laughed it off so well!’ wrote another.
Meanwhile, a person believed to have been the bride himself wrote, “If the comment section is more ‘bridezilla’ than the actual bride. Thank you for your concern, but me and my dress enjoyed this *rehearsal dinner* moment.’
