Hilaria Baldwin shows off ‘mommy genius’ by getting all seven kids to sit for Easter photo with Alec

The past few weeks have been a time of celebratory milestones for Alec Baldwin and his wife Hilaria Baldwin.

And on Easter Sunday, the couple were back in the festive spirit as they spent the holidays with their seven children, seemingly at their home in suburban New York.

It was an amazing achievement that Hilaria, 39, had all four of her sons – Rafael, seven, Leonardo, six, Romeo, four, and Eduardo, two – and three daughters – Carmen, nine, Maria, two, and the newest member of the family, Ilaria, six months, for a group photo.

The kids all sat on the living room floor, two of them snuggling on their mom’s lap, while Alec, 65, knelt behind his wife.

It turns out that Hilaria used a bit of Mother’s ingenuity to get everyone in their place for the photo.

“The only way I got them all in the picture was by holding a big plastic tub of candy on my lap,” she shared in the caption, adding, “My face is congratulating myself on a moment of mommy genius, or wondering if the sugar high and crash later would be worth it.”

She then took a moment to congratulate herself, writing, “I love that with 7 kids, I’ve given up trying to all look at the camera and smile, and just want them to be present in the picture.”

For the Sunday celebration, everyone looks casually dressed, including some wearing shorts and a T-shirt, with more than one of the children still wearing their pajamas.

Carmen helped her parents by keeping an eye on the family’s newest addition, Ilaria, and holding her on her lap so she could be seen in the picture.

While Hilaria flashes a beaming smile for the camera, Alec had a more serious expression.

Six days earlier, the acclaimed actor was absolutely glowing with joy as he posed for a family photo at a party celebrating his 65th birthday.

‘A picture of our wildness, as we are. May this year bring you peace, health and happiness. We are lucky enough to be by your side… through it all. Happy birthday Alec, we love you,” she said in the caption of the April 3 post.

The pair also had reason to celebrate just over a week ago when they paid tribute to each other on the 11th anniversary of their engagement.

Hilaria is said to take a selfie of a couple standing in an elevator seemingly on their way to celebrate, revealing in the photo’s caption that they “got engaged 11 years ago today.”

For his celebratory message of love, Alec summed up his growing family life with his wife in a few sentences.

“Eleven years ago today, I got engaged to a wonderful human being. She’s somewhere under this pile,” he wrote, referring to the photo of Hilaria lying on the floor of their house with some of their children around her.

“11 years, 7 kids, an ocean of memories later, I love you Hilaria,” the Academy Award-nominated actor concluded in the post.

And about seven weeks ago, the yoga instructor, podcaster, and author marked the 12th anniversary of the day she and Alec met.

As it turns out, they first locked eyes on February 18, 2011 at Sarma Melngailis’ New York restaurant Pure Food and Wine.

The Baldwins celebrate their 11th wedding anniversary on June 30.
