Hilaria Baldwin reveals son, 6, suffered shock injury resulting in stitches

Alec Baldwin’s wife Hilaria has revealed her son Romeo, six, suffered a head injury that left him needing stitches.

The yoga teacher, 40, who shares seven children with the Rust actor, 66, posted a photo with her son and revealed he needed to see a doctor after the injury.

In the snap, she cradled her son’s head and wrote, “Romeo hit his head… stabbing like a champ.”

“Thankful to @drchrisfunderburk for making this experience as painless as possible.”

She added a poll to the photo with the caption: “Why do these things always happen on the weekends?” with two answers: ‘I know, right?’ and “The universe demons say: Happy Sunday!”

The Baldwins are currently embarking on a new reality series that focuses on their family, consisting of their children: Carmen, 11, Rafael, nine, Leonardo, seven, Romeo Eduardo or “Edu,” three, Maria, three, and Ilaria, one.

The Glengarry Glen Ross star also shares his daughter Ireland Baldwin, 27, with ex-wife and actress Kim Basinger

The family was recently seen filming with TLC in and around The Hamptons in New York in recent weeks.

Their new reality series will air on the TLC network sometime in 2025.

This comes after Rust’s prosecutor asked a judge to reopen Alec’s manslaughter case following the shooting of cameraman Halyna Hutchins.

Baldwin’s latest sighting also comes just weeks after a prosecutor asked a New Mexico judge to reconsider the decision to file involuntary manslaughter charges against Baldwin in connection with the fatal shooting of cameraman Halyna Hutchins on the set of the Western film Rust to reject.

Special counsel Kari Morrissey argued that the July decision lacked sufficient factual basis and did not violate Baldwin’s due process rights.

State District Court Judge Mary Marlowe Sommer had previously dismissed the case during the trial in July, citing that police and prosecutors withheld evidence from Baldwin’s defense in the shooting that killed Hutchins.

The dismissal was made with prejudice, preventing the charges from being refiled once potential appeals are resolved.

Baldwin, the star and co-producer of Rust, was pointing a gun at Hutchins during a rehearsal when it went off, killing her and wounding director Joel Souza.

The 30 Rock star claimed he pulled back the hammer — but not the trigger — and the revolver fired.

The case centered on ammunition brought to the sheriff’s office in March by a man who claimed it may have been linked to Hutchins’ death.

Prosecutors dismissed the ammunition as irrelevant, while Baldwin’s legal team accused them of covering it up, leading to a successful motion to dismiss the case.

In her request for reconsideration, Special Counsel Morrissey argued that the undisclosed ammunition was not relevant and focused on Baldwin’s responsibility to follow gun safety rules.

Last month, Baldwin’s legal team denied the motion, filed on August 30.

In court documents obtained by People, the star’s lawyers say Morrissey “continues to abuse the judicial process.”

“She repeatedly violated the state’s disclosure obligations, buried evidence, lied about it at trial, and then lied about her reasons for lying about it,” his team alleged. “Not only has the State failed to provide new information warranting reconsideration, but the new information that has emerged since the trial only underscores the force and necessity of the Court’s ruling.”

Baldwin’s attorneys then told the court to “ensure the integrity of the legal system and the efficient administration of justice by withdrawing and denying the state’s claims.”

Rust will have its world premiere next month at the EnergaCAMERIMAGE International Cinematography Film Festival in Poland.

Deadline reports that a private WhatsApp group of working cinematographers also opposed the event, calling it “distasteful” and “tone deaf.” They noted that Hutchins’ family is reportedly supportive of the display – Halyna in 2018 photo

Oscar-nominated cinematographer Rachel Morrison responded to an Instagram post promoting the premiere: “I’m all for remembering Halyna and her beautiful work, but not by showing and thereby promoting the film that killed her. ‘
