A man has been stabbed in a busy Melbourne shopping center, just a week after the horrific massacre at Westfield Bondi Junction in Sydney.
The young man was stabbed outside Soul Kitchen at the Highpoint Shopping Center in Melbourne’s west on Sunday afternoon.

Bystanders told reporters that he staggered down the restaurant stairs bleeding from the stomach before paramedics arrived on the scene.
He was taken to Royal Melbourne Hospital in a ‘serious but stable condition’.
The attacker, who fled the scene, is still on the run.
