Kyle Walker has revealed how Erling Haaland is changing the focus on nutrition at Manchester City by trying to get his teammates to try two of his bizarre favorite dishes.
The Norwegian continues to dominate the Premier League goalscoring charts in his third season at the club, with City topping the table helped by Haaland’s 11 goals.
A stunning acrobatic finish made the difference as City recorded a valuable 1-0 win over Southampton last weekend to put Liverpool ahead in the standings. Pep Guardiola’s side also benefit from his guidance off the pitch.
Despite being one of City’s youngest players at 24, Haaland is a leader in the team and always tries to find new ways to gain an advantage over his opponent.
The superstar striker is always looking to gain an edge and his diet, consisting of unusual delicacies, has been well documented during his time with the reigning Premier League champions.

Haaland’s quirky cuisine sees him use an innovative water filter to avoid drinking impurities, kale and spinach smoothies, and he is a lover of raw fish, with the delicacy being a big part of Scandinavian diets.
Now his teammate and City full-back Walker has given a deeper insight into Haaland’s love of unusual food, revealing two items the striker keeps taking to training for everyone to try.
‘Erling is high maintenance, but in a good way. He is very professional but he likes his treatments, massages, ice baths, his juice has to be good, he is just professional and takes care of his body,” Walker told his colleagues. BBC podcast.
‘The food has changed, I can tell you that. Norwegian salmon, he brings all that in and takes care of the boys.
“He’s got all his raw milk and stuff. It comes straight from the cow,” he added.
