Former Hi-5 star Charli Robinson has returned to TV screens in Amazon Australia’s new holiday movie.
The 41-year-old is set to star in The Playmakers Save The Holidays – a film to raise money for the Starlight Children’s Foundation.
Charli told The Sunday Telegraph she was ready to perform for young people after her last performance on Hi-5 14 years ago.

“It gave me a boost to love working with kids,” said Charli.
“I left the recording and I thought, oh my god. I could do this again. I was totally inspired,” she added.
Charli and Johnny Ruffo will play the voices behind the characters in the animated film.
Charli ended by saying she felt “at home” and that it “raised her spirit” after filming the project.

In 2008, Charli left Hi-5 after being a beloved member of the children’s group.
She went on to dance on Dancing With The Stars, before starring on Gold Coast radio.
She then became a travel presenter for the travel series Getaway.

Last year, the artist landed a role as a pit reporter for the Repco Supercars Championships, defending her position as a woman in the role.
“You don’t need anyone to tell you that you don’t know anything about cars and that you don’t know anything about motorsport because you’re a woman,” she told Supercars.com.
These women know what they are talking about. I think when you get into the industry you just have to be strong as a woman and realize that people are going to say a lot of crap about you, but that’s just because they don’t know you.’
She added, “I’m also in favor of the best person for the job. I’m not saying we should include women to get a 50/50 split of men and women.
Charli is married to V8 Supercars driver Liam Talbot and the couple have two daughters: Theadora, two, and Kensington, three.
