Arsenal goalkeeper David Raya has announced his engagement to his model girlfriend Tatiana Trouboul ahead of the club’s match against Bournemouth.
The Spain international took to social media on Friday evening to share the news.
“SHE SAID YES,” Raya wrote, as the goalkeeper posted a series of photos of his proposal.
One photo showed the goalkeeper getting down on one knee to propose, with the pair embracing after Trouboul accepted.
Trouboul revealed on social media that Raya had proposed earlier this week.

“It’s been two days since the news and I still can’t believe it,” she revealed.
‘Thank you very much for all the messages we receive. Being on a cloud and seeing the people around us cheering for us fills our hearts even more.”
Raya and Trouboul reportedly started dating in 2021 before going public with their relationship a year later.
The model had originally split her time between Spain and London, with the couple now living together in North London.
The couple’s home is protected by an XL Bully dog after Raya reportedly received an exemption certificate after a ban came into effect in February earlier this year.
Trouboul has been at several crucial moments in Raya’s career in recent years, with the goalkeeper making great progress.
She was present when he signed for Arsenal in an initial loan deal last year, with Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta taking a photo of the pair at the Gunners’ training ground.
Raya was initially expected to compete for the number 1 shirt alongside Aaron Ramsdale, but he quickly emerged as Arsenal’s first-choice goalkeeper.
The couple live in North London with their XL Bully dog Goku, for which Raya was given an exemption to help guard their home following a series of terrifying raids on footballers’ homes.

The Arsenal star was a crucial part of their title-challenging team. Last season he won the Premier League’s Golden Glove award by keeping 16 clean sheets in 32 games.
He has had another impressive start to the season, with Arsenal unbeaten in the top flight after seven games and one point behind leaders Liverpool and level on points with second-placed Man City.
Raya shared the news of his engagement ahead of the club’s visit to Bournemouth during the late kick-off on Saturday.
A win would see Arsenal top the table, while Liverpool and defending champions Man City played on Sunday.
