Two-wheeler giant Hero MotoCorp on Monday said it has joined the Open Network for Digital Commerce (ONDC) to increase reach, convenience and provide customers with an easily accessible digital mode.
The open network will initially offer parts, accessories and merchandise for two-wheelers. Customers can easily discover ‘Hero Genuine Parts’ by using network buyer apps such as Paytm and Mystore, among others, Hero MotoCorp said in a statement.
“…With ONDC Network, we have pioneered the car taxonomy for the automotive industry, making it easier for customers to find car parts and accessories. With this initiative, Hero MotoCorp is furthering the government’s Digital India mission and we will continue to bring more innovation in this space,” said Niranjan Gupta, CEO of Hero MotoCorp.
“When brands like Hero MotoCorp embrace the Open Network, it reaffirms our vision to drive digital transformation in the country by creating a fair and efficient ecosystem for all kinds of businesses to thrive,” said ONDC Managing Director & CEO T Koshy.
Hero MotoCorp said that by expanding reach and creating a fair and efficient environment for its channel partners, the integration on the ONDC network accelerates order fulfillment by enabling hyper-local deliveries, supported by the extensive physical distribution.
