MachineGames’ upcoming Indiana Jones game is expected to be featured alongside Obsidian’s GrantedOxide Games’ Ara: Untold Historyand Ninja Theory Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2. No Activision Blizzard titles are expected during the broadcast.
When is the Xbox Developer Direct?
The Xbox Developer Direct airs at 12pm PST / 3pm EST / 9pm CET on Xbox’s YouTube And Nervous twitch channels. You can watch the livestream, via YouTube, in the embedded video above. After the direct broadcast, ZeniMax Online Studios will broadcast The Elder Scrolls Online Global Reveal 2024 at 1:00 PM PST / 4:00 PM EST / 10:00 PM CET.

Indiana Jones game: MachineGames, the award-winning studio behind the recent Wolfenstein series, will unveil their upcoming Indiana Jones game, an action-adventure that puts players in the leather jacket of the legendary archaeologist. Developer_Direct showcases more than 10 minutes of game and developer insights, including details on the game’s setting and story, how fans will actually play as Indy, additional details of his next globe-trotting adventure, and the premiere of the first gameplay trailer.
Granted: The team at Obsidian will take the first deep dive into the gameplay experience fans can expect Granted, their upcoming fantasy action RPG, set in the fantastical, vibrant Living Lands. Learn more about how Obsidian’s world-building expertise with deep themes, dynamic gameplay, and thoughtful reactivity comes to life in Granted where players have the agency to make choices to shape every step of their adventure.
Ara: Untold History: Hear from the leaders of Oxide Games – a studio founded by veterans of the strategy genre and the creators behind classic strategy titles, including Civilization V – as they reveal exclusive new gameplay and share more details about the inspiration, key features and the road ahead for their upcoming historical grand strategy game.
Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II: Ninja Theory takes us behind the scenes of their Cambridge studio to give us some insight into how they work Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II. The team will talk about the ambition and meticulous care involved in creating Senua’s survival journey.
It is unclear whether Microsoft will show other games than planned during the Developer Direct The Elder Scrolls Online broadcast following the main event.
There have been several Microsoft rumors floating around lately, for example Sea of thieves – exclusive to the Xbox console – may come to PlayStation 5, according to Stephen Totilo of Game Files. Giant bombs Jeff Grubb also said he has heard Sea of thieves coming to PlayStation 5 And Nintendo switch, alongside other Xbox exclusives. However, it seems unlikely that the reported releases will be announced during the January 18 Developer Direct.
