Kevin Sorbo said he is a victim of cancellation culture.
The Hercules: The Legendary Journeys actor, 64, said he has been shunned by Hollywood for his conservative views and Christian beliefs in an interview on Fox news.
The native Minnesotan claimed that he and his agent split after the Andromeda star was “blacklisted.”
“It was sad for me, you know, my manager and agent have been saying for so many years that we can’t give you a job anymore, can’t work with you anymore because you’re a Christian, a conservative,” he said.
“We have such a huge divide in our country right now, and it’s being perpetuated by mainstream media, perpetuated by movies, TV,” he claimed.

“I don’t harbor that kind of anger and hatred towards people. I have a different point of view.’
The actor has made a number of controversial statements over the years.
In 2014, he defended Mel Gibson’s 2004 film The Passion of the Christ against accusations that it was anti-Semitic by telling Jerry Newcombe on the faith-based talk show Vocal Point, “News Bulletin: You Killed Jesus!” according to Christian today.
He later apologized for his use of words, but did not back down, saying, “Did all the Jews hate Jesus at the time?” Of course they didn’t. The people clamored to release the hardened criminal. That’s in the book. That’s in the facts.’
That same year, he made derogatory remarks about protesters in Ferguson, MO following the death of 18-year-old Michael Brown.
In a now-deleted comment on Facebook share by Lounge, he wrote, “Ferguson riots have very little to do with the shooting of the young man. It’s an excuse to be the losers these animals really are. It’s a tipping point to frustration built up over years of not trying, but blaming everyone, The Man, for their failures.”
“It’s always someone else’s fault when you give up. Hopefully this is a reminder to African Americans (I always thought we were just Americans. Oh, well.) that their president they voted for only made things worse for them, not better.”
In January 2021, he was called out by former Xena: Warrior Princess star Lucy Lawless after theorizing that rioters on Capitol Hill were actually Antifa activists in disguise.
Jobs: “It was sad for me, you know, my manager and agent have been saying for so many years that we can’t get you a job anymore, can’t work with you anymore because you’re a Christian, conservative,” he told Fox News
