Milla was born in Kiev and grew up in Moscow. At the age of five, her family moved to London. Seven months later, she settled in Los Angeles.
Milla is known for her many appearances in various science fiction films and rose to fame when she played the lead role in the 1991 romance film Return To The Blue Lagoon.
The star got her breakthrough role when she played Leeloo in the iconic 1997 science fiction film The Fifth Element.
According to Forbes, Milla became the highest-paid model in the world in 2004, topping the list with a gross income of $10.5 million.
The star shares Ever with her husband Paul WS Anderson, whom she met while working on the 2002 film Resident Evil.

Ever previously admitted that she had a ‘different’ childhood as a child actor than others, but that it was ‘what I wanted to do’.
She also said that her parents, who worked in the industry, also gave her advice and “great tips” about what she “should try to do differently” and that they told her to “always do more, always have more interests and always be interested in different things.”
Milla recently spoke about her daughter’s move into the acting world in an interview with Entertainment Tonight: ‘On the one hand, I’m terrified, because I know how hard this industry is.
“And on the other hand, I am overjoyed because I feel like my child has found her passion and she has been focusing on that since she was five years old.”
She added: “She grew up on set with her dad and me, and you know, it seems like the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree.”
