Natalie Viscuso, Henry Cavill’s girlfriend, has shared her heartbreak after her beloved dog passed away on Wednesday.
The Man Of Steel actor, 39, and the businessman, 32, brought her elderly French bulldog with them as they traveled on a private jet for work commitments.
Her dog, named Meat, has been traveling regularly to and from the US and Europe since the couple announced they were dating via Instagram in May 2021.
Dogs of that breed have difficulty breathing as a brachycephalic breed and flying can cause complications for the dogs.
Shortly before Meat died in the UK, Henry and his girlfriend were photographed at a vet clinic in Turkey while her dog was very ill.

Henry previously said that his own dog Kal is his best friend who “saved his emotional and psychological bacon many times over.”
The Superman star, 38, appeared in Lorraine on Monday taking in the American Akita breed and spoke of their “inseparable bond.”
He said, “He really is my best friend, we go everywhere together.”
He continued, “He is now eight and he has often spared me emotionally and psychologically. We have an incredibly close bond.”
‘He [Kal] understand it a bit. He’ll feel it when I have my own stuff on, he’ll be close — he’s close almost all the time, but he’ll be closer.”
Kal was recently pictured as the star on the Netflix season 2 premiere of the hit TV series The Witcher.
The actor made sure his furry friend wouldn’t miss the event and was spotted bundling Kai in the back of the car on his way to the premiere.
Henry and Natalie announced they were dating via Instagram in May 2021 and have since revealed snippets of their relationship on social media.
2022 has been fraught with turmoil for the actor who was not only fired from his role as Superman, but also reportedly separated from his longtime manager.
According to The Sun, the star said goodbye to Dany Garcia – Dwayne Johnson’s former wife – months before getting the ax from DC.

A source told the publication, “Henry and Dany have been working together for years, but things haven’t been going so smoothly lately. Things have gotten messed up and it’s been decided for the best of everyone that they should go their separate ways.
They added: ‘It’s a chance for him to reset and look forward to his new role in the Warhammer 40,000 movie. The decision was made earlier this year.’
A second insider said: “Garcia and Cavill have made an amicable and mutually agreed shift over the past 12 months to working together in an advisory role. The two still have a close friendship and respect for each other’s careers.”
Henry was abruptly fired from his role as Superman earlier this year, just days after the ax fell on Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman 3 amid a massive shakeup at Warner Bros.’ DC movies.
He took to Instagram on Wednesday to reveal the news to his 22.9 million followers that he won’t be back as the Man of Steel on the big screen.
He said: ‘I just met with James Gunn and Peter Safran and it’s sad news, everyone. After all, I won’t be returning as Superman.
“After the studio told me to announce my return in October, ahead of their hire, this news isn’t the easiest, but such is life.
“The changing of the guard is something that happens. I respect that. James and Peter must build a universe.
