Best found footage horror movie I’ve ever seen. #HellHouseLLC’; #hellhousellc still makes me feel like I’m walking down my own dark hallway at night. Afraid of seeing “the” clown outside my door, or some random girl sitting in the corner. Glad I don’t have a basement!’
The film currently has a 75 percent critics’ rating on Rotten Tomatoes and a 72 percent audience rating and has spawned two sequels.
Horror House LLC has been compared to the slasher film Terrifier 2, which so upset viewers that people reportedly vomited, passed out, and left movie theaters.
In the plot of the sequel, Art The Clown returns after his resurrection.
This time, he fixes himself on terrorizing a teenage girl and her little brother as he engages in a slaughter on Halloween night.
And like its predecessor, which went viral for a particularly gruesome death scene where someone was brutally sawed in half, Terriifier 2 didn’t shy away from the infamous gore.
