A helicopter carrying two Australians crashed this afternoon near the cliffs of Pecatu in Bali’s South Kuta region.
The helicopter crashed around mid-Friday afternoon with a total of five passengers on board
Australian passengers Russel James Harris and Chriestope Pierre Marrot Castellat were reportedly on the plane, along with pilot Dedi Kurnia, and Indonesian passengers Eloira Decti Paskilah and Oki.

Bali’s Indonesian Search and Rescue Service (Basarnas) said the helicopter had taken off from Garuda Wisnu Kencana (GWK) for a tour around Bali starting at 2:33 p.m. Bali time. However, it crashed at 2:37 p.m.
The search and rescue agency said all people on board were rescued. Three passengers were taken to Siloam Hospital with serious injuries.
