‘There was no one like you, you were an enlightened unicorn here on earth, the sweetest, most loving mother to your beautiful son Charlie, the kindest, most thoughtful and loyal friend to me, always checking in, always thinking of everyone around you.
“Hi darling” you always said in such a cheerful voice when we spoke on the phone. You were an incredible artist, but what was so unique about your art is that it emanated from every pore of you.
‘You lived and breathed art and beauty, it was all around you, in the houses you had decorated so cozy and beautifully, in the way you danced, in the music you always played in the background, in the way you dressed so elegantly and timelessly, in every delicious meal you made, even how you served it, in the way you wrote letters and Christmas cards, in the way you wrapped every perfect gift I ever received from you… beauty was mainly in your mind.
‘There was so much magic around you, so much warmth and joy.
“I will forever be deeply grateful for our friendship, for all the laughter, humor, tears and many adventures we shared. I love you, my dear friend. Until I see you again.’
