Parks and Recreation star Helen Slayton-Hughes has died at age 92, her family announced Thursday.

The beloved actress, who played the feisty Ethel Beavers on the hit show, passed away on Wednesday; the cause of her death has not been released.

Paying tribute to the star, her family’s statement read: ‘Helen passed away last night. Her pain is over, but her fierce spirit lives on.

Helen played court reporter Ethel in the popular political satire mockumentary sitcom from 2011-2015.

The star won an army of fans with his hilarious and scathing quips, starring alongside Amy Poehler, Chris Pratt and Aubrey Plaza in 11 episodes.

Her character agreed to be adopted by Chris and Aubrey’s characters as their grandmother in a hilarious episode of the iconic show.

The star made her last public appearance on October 8 when she attended Netflix’s special screening of The Curse Of Bridge Hollow.

Helen’s outstanding resume includes appearances on shows including Arrested Development, My Name Is Earl, Desperate Housewives, New Girl and That’s So Raven.
