Helen Skelton shared a lovely photo of her son Ernie’s schoolwork, calling her his “favorite author.”

The presenter, who has been hard at work training on Strictly Come Dancing following her split from husband Richie Myler, shared the photo along with a caption to remind working parents that their kids are ‘still proud of them’.

Helen split from husband Richie in April, just weeks after the birth of their third child, and the rugby star is now expecting a baby with new girlfriend Stephanie Thirkill.

Helen shared a photo of seven-year-old Ernie’s work, asking him to name his favorite author and book.

In addition to writing her name, Ernie said Helen’s books Wild Girl and Amy Wild were his favorite books she’d written.

The first book is a guide to outdoor fun and the second a fictional book written by Helen about an adventurous girl.

Asked to name three facts about Helen, Ernie sweetly wrote, “She’s brave. She’s my mom. She’s been all over the world.”

Clearly touched by her son’s tribute, Helen shared some of the work on her Instagram Stories, along with the caption, “When you’re a parent who works. I see you. We’re fine. They are proud of us. She first. Always.’

Helen has juggled raising her sons Ernie and Louis, five, and daughter Elsie, 10 months, with her training for Strictly Come Dancing, and she’ll be speaking again on Saturday for the show’s return to Blackpool.
