Helen Flanagan reveals the first thing she did after leaving I’m A Celeb was ‘get really drunk’

Helen Flanagan revealed the first thing she’s done since leaving I’m A Celebrity… South Africa on Thursday morning’s episode of Lorraine.

The former Coronation Street star, 32, left I’m A Celebrity… South Africa last night along with Eastenders actor Dean Gaffney, 51.

Lorraine talked about how hard the lack of food was in the camp – and asked Helen if she had a really big cake after she came out.

But Helen gave a very honest answer as she laughed, ‘I just got really drunk!’

Shortly before filming the show in September, Helen split up with her ex-fiancée Scott Sinclair after 13 years.

She said, “I’m very close to Scott’s mother. Like we’re really, really close.

“We’re good friends, we always have been, so that makes everything a lot easier.”

She revealed that I’m A Celeb had been a “distraction” from the split and is now thinking about what she wants for herself.

The actress revealed that she’s reached a “nice stage” where she’s “starting to find myself again.”

Helen reportedly made the final decision last month not to reconcile with her ex-fiancé Scott after seeking advice from Carol Vorderman, who also stars on the reality show.

Helen donned a gorgeous floral maxi dress when she appeared on the show, showing off her enviable assets.

Host Lorraine couldn’t resist pointing it out and congratulating Helen on her recent boob job.

According to claims, Helen was managed by her I’m A Celebrity South Africa co-star Carol, 62, who has been open about her own five “special friends” in the past.

A source told The sun: “Helen was at a crossroads in her relationship when she ventured into the jungle this time.

Carol became something of a mother figure to the other campmates, and Helen found herself opening up to her.

“She told Helen to follow her heart and put her children first.

She advised that staying with someone just for the kids never works.

“Of course they have the kids and a huge history that only time will tell if it’s over for good.”

The 32-year-old actress said in her exit interview for I’m A Celeb: ‘I wasn’t really that nervous about the Trials. I mean, I kind of did. I just took a totally different approach this time with the Trials.

“I prepped a little bit for the show. I worked on many of my fears before going to South Africa.

‘I often went to Go Ape! I went about ten times before doing the show to work on heights and stuff.”

She described beating Paul Burrell in a Bushtucker Trial as her favorite moment on the show.

She continued, “I just felt a lot calmer and a lot more confident during the Trials this time. My favorite, favorite moment was when I won a Trial against Paul Burrell.

“I love Paul, but I wanted to win. Honestly it was my favorite moment ever, ringing the bell at the end when I won. I was so happy. My second favorite moment was running into camp afterwards.

“I was literally buzzing to all the other campmates that I had won. I was so happy! It was just amazing, I loved every second of it.’

The blonde beauty reflected that she was having “the best time” on the show.

Helen said, “I’ve had the time of my life. I just had the best time – I’m so thankful.’
