Helen Flanagan reveals she still co-sleeps with all three of her children as she shares footage of her chaotic bedtime routine

Helen Flanagan revealed she still sleeps with all three of her children as she shared a snap of her chaotic bedtime routine on Tuesday.

The former Coronation Street star, 33, shares Matilda (seven), Delilah (four) and Charlie (two) with ex-fiancé Scott Sinclair, who she split from last year after 13 years together.

Posting on Instagram, Helen offered her millions of followers a glimpse into her daily life as she tried to put the children to bed.

While Helen was snug under the covers, Charlie still had a lot of energy as he flicked the bedside light on and off and jumped around the bed.

The TV personality said: “I sleep with all my children. No wonder my back is so bad!’

Speaking into the camera, Helen added: ‘This is me trying to sleep. This is how I fall asleep!’

Pointing the camera at each of her children, she continued, “I’ve got this, I’ve got that, and I’ve got that! All of them. All of them!’

Helen has previously admitted that she has slept in the same bed with her children since they were born.

Posting on Instagram last year, she said: “I always slept with the kids for convenience and just so I could sleep and work in the morning.”

TV star Helen also admitted that she tried to change her children’s bedtime routine.

She explained: “I fell asleep with the kids last night. So Delilah does this thing where she won’t fall asleep without me, no way, she’ll just scream and scream and scream.

“I talked to Scott’s mom and I think we’re going to get them into a different routine.” God, she’s almost five, but honestly, she won’t fall asleep without me. She literally has to sleep there (next to her face).

“So usually what I do is I pretend I’m going to sleep and then when she falls asleep I sneak out of the room. Anyway, I didn’t, I fell asleep and I fell asleep in my contact lenses. A large!

“But I also need my adult time even if it’s like watching something I want to watch or being able to talk to my friends.” I just need that switch.

“I’d say I rested well, but my eyeballs hurt and we got up early this morning.” ‘

Helen also revealed that she is ‘co-parenting’ with ex Scott, who lives in Bristol with his mum, while she lives in Manchester with the children.

This comes after Helen is ’embarrassed’ by her shared sweet snaps of herself and her youngest, two-year-old Charlie, as she revealed he had been having “tantrums”.

Helen, 32, shared a series of photos of herself sharing kisses with Charlie, joking in the caption that she was ‘trying to take a picture with my two year old’.

The post was soon flooded with comments, with some criticizing Helen’s parenting, asking: ‘Why do you keep asking your kids for kiss after kiss…like it’s not normal, plus the way you talk to them is like talking to puppies.’

“You need to act like a mom… they need tough love and disciplin (sic),” the commenter continued.

Another asked: ‘Did you ever think they don’t want photos and kisses all the time. I’ve never known anyone to ask their kids for kiss after kiss???’

Helena’s fans were quick to defend her against the mum-shaming comments, with one pointing out: ‘I always ask for kisses a lot when they’re little because they’re teenagers soon and you don’t get any.’

“It’s a parenting style and it’s totally fine,” agreed another.

“They’re only little once, not all kids need tough love,” read another supportive comment.
