Helen Flanagan reveals she and ex Scott Sinclair locked horns over whether to homeschool their children
Helen Flanagan has revealed that she and her ex Scott Sinclair disagreed over whether to homeschool their children.
The former Coronation Street star, 34, split from the Bristol Rovers player in 2022 after 13 years and three children: Matilda, 8, Delilah, 5, and Charlie, 3.
Helen shared a photo of herself with her children on holiday in Marbella, saying she considered homeschooling her children last year but was strongly opposed by Scott.
She wrote: ‘I don’t really like the routine I have at school and I like to be spontaneous and have freedom with the children.
‘I actually looked into homeschooling last year when I was going on a six-month theater tour and I wanted them to come along. But their father absolutely did not want them to be homeschooled, even for a short period of time.’

Helen adds that she does see advantages in keeping children in regular education.
She wrote: ‘I definitely think it’s really important for children to have social contact.
‘I asked Matilda what her favourite part of the holiday was and it was mainly about the friends she made and playing with the other children.’
Helen also said that as a single parent she finds it difficult to go on holiday with the children.
She added: ‘As a single mum I always go on holiday with my girlfriend. It gives me an extra pair of hands for the kids as travelling would just make it too difficult. Plus Charlie can’t swim yet so I need a constant eye on him x’
The reason for this is reports that Helen is ‘crazy about another footballer’ two years after her split from Scott.
As she tries to find her feet again in the dating world by starring on Celebs Go Dating, Helen enjoyed the company of another footballer at her 34th birthday party.
Helen celebrated her anniversary last week at the MNKY HSE in Manchester, where she wore a pink ruffled dress alongside co-stars Lauryn Goodman.

This week it was revealed that the actress was joined by former professional footballer and coach Robbie Talbot, 44, according to The sun.
A source told the publication: “Helen is completely in love. They look so good together. She deserves to be happy after everything she’s been through recently.
‘She has tried to keep the situation out of the public eye, but that has become difficult as their feelings for each other have grown stronger.
‘Helen made no secret of her new relationship at her party, but it’s still early days.’
