Helen Flanagan reveals daughter Matilda, 7, told her she was wearing a crop top

Helen Flanagan has revealed that her seven-year-old daughter Matilda has accused her of wearing a crop top.

The former Corrie star, 32, is currently holidaying in Dubai with her children Matilda, Delilah, four, and Charlie, two and apparently her ex-fiance Scott Sinclair – sparking rumors they have reconciled.

And while her love life may be back on track, Helen admits that her relationship with her eldest child has been temperamental lately, with the star admitting they’ve “had a few falling outs.”

Taking to her Instagram stories on Thursday morning, the actress opened up about her shock at how “adult” her girl is now, admitting that the “change” in her was “just crazy.”

In the video, Helen talked about how Matilda “messed” her into making her wear a crop top after seeing her wearing an outfit that exposed the midriff.

Recounting how she struggled with her daughter, Helen told the camera, “We’ve come on vacation and the change in Matilda is just crazy that she’s so grown up now.

“We’ve had to make friends a few times, had a few arguments — just looking at her in the corner, she’d come and talk me out of it. Apparently I’m embarrassed, I’ve been told to leave a few times.

“I always call my kids baby — like come on baby and I’ve been told not to call them baby anymore and not to call her princess, I always call her princess.”

Speaking of her daughter’s question about the revealing fashion item, she said, “She makes fun of me for wearing crop tops. I’m like ‘you’re not wearing a crop top!’

“…they talk to me all the time about wearing a tank top!”

She went on to talk about how grown up her daughter is, with the youngster also pestering her for the whole “holiday” to have a TikTok account, while also being “obsessed” with her “phone.”

She said, “And she’s obsessed with her ‘phone.’ She’s never had a phone. I don’t give my seven-year-old a phone. It’s an iPod so she can FaceTime Scott’s mom.”

The Rosie Webster actress went on to say her other daughter Delilah has been “really good” apart from a “few fights” after leaving her “tantrum stage”, while son Charlie has been “beautiful” and full of “real little boy’. – pure boy energy.’

Later in the evening, Helen resumed her story again to reveal that Matilda had tied a slinky in her hair and attached it to a water bottle.

After they laughed together, the sprog detached the toy from the bottle and they hugged, before Matilda made a joke about her mother’s “tits.”

It hasn’t been all smooth sailing with her son on holiday though, as on Sunday, Helen described the moment when she was “mother embarrassed” while her youngest child Charlie threw a tantrum over the holidays.

She took to her Instagram Stories and explained that a female friend had accompanied her on the trip to help with the kids.

She said, “I can’t tell you how horrible Charlie’s tantrums have been.”

“I mean, I have two kids and I know how babies can be and the tantrums and stuff, but if I say so, he screamed out of the restaurant yesterday.

“He screamed and screamed. There was no comfort to him at all, he literally yelled the whole restaurant down.

‘It was a very, very, very busy restaurant – I felt there was a table, I just felt it.

“This is my third child – I don’t think they were so nice to be honest about my parenting, even though I really tried my best to comfort Charlie.”
