‘I got vaccinated against whooping cough and of course I’m going to vaccinate my son. It’s a no-brainer for me,’ said the 33-year-old.

Sam made headlines when he shared his concerns about the Covid vaccine in 2021.
She later clarified that she was not “anti-vaccination” and never said that she did not want to receive it.
‘I’m not anti-vaccination, are you kidding me? But I feel like it’s pretty unreasonable to assume that everyone is going to think the exact same way and that people are going to come to the exact same conclusion in the same amount of time,” she said.

Sam, who joined Home and Away as Jasmine Delaney in 2017, left the Channel Seven soap opera in December 2021, two months after revealing that she had not had a vaccination.
Seven Productions has a policy that requires all cast and crew to be vaccinated against Covid; however, sources said last year that Sam’s departure was unrelated to the tenure.
His former co-star Lynne McGranger told Nova’s Fitzy & Wippa in January that Sam was now fully vaccinated.
