A driver with a P license plate was given the shock of his life after making an unexpected discovery in the front of his car while at a McDonald’s drive-thru.

The young driver had been ordering at a McDonald’s in Heatherbrae in the Hunter region of New South Wales.

A customer outside noticed something unexpected before deciding to film his discovery.

The driver seems completely oblivious and continues to back out of the lane.

He is later stopped by customers who tell him about the snake attached to the front of his vehicle.

The snake is believed to have hitchhiked and clung to the hood for the next four hours before the car pulled into McDonald’s.
