“I’m absolutely obsessed with being a mom,” she enthused. “I practiced with Taylor and Brayden, of course, but going through the newborn stage and having a baby is a whole different story.”
She continued, “It’s chaos at first, right? You have a new baby in the house, you’re trying to figure everything out and you’re postpartum.’
‘Everything is different. But I didn’t think I’d be so obsessed and in love with him. I knew I would love him, of course, but it’s like obsession and love,” Young told the outlet.
While Tristan is her first child, she is also the stepmother to El Moussa’s 12-year-old daughter, Taylor, and son, Brayden, 7, from his previous marriage to Christina Hall.
The bombshell went on to discuss how motherhood has changed her “for the better” and “definitely” made her “calmer and more patient and just more loving overall.”
“I will not let myself be upset and bothered. Like something stressful is going on,” she explained.
Young said that when “people are being negative” or “gossip in public,” she reminds herself that her “peace is more important to Tristan.”
The star recently returned from a trip to Las Vegas with her husband, which she says was her “first time really away” from her son.

“We took a quick 19-hour trip to Vegas because Dad needed it, and we just laughed,” she revealed.
Young also said that she and El Moussa always make time for date nights despite their busy schedules.
“If he feels like he needs more time with me, then we’re going to spend our quality time together because my relationship with Tarek is very important,” she said. “We are the foundation of the family, and when the base you found starts to crack, then other problems start to happen. So I know that, and it’s getting easier.’
The couple met on July 4, 2019 through mutual friends in Newport Beach.
