Heather Rae El Moussa confirms she is DONE with Selling Sunset as she remarks she is ‘not on the same show anymore’ as costar Bre Tiesi

Heather Rae El Moussa confirmed Wednesday that she is no longer part of the TV show that made her famous, Selling Sunset.

It's not much of a surprise, though, as the former Playboy Playmate, 36, had a smaller role in season seven and is yet to be credited for season eight of the hit Netflix series.

When she shared a photo with Selling Sunset co-star Bre Tiesi on Instagram, she said they are “not on the same show together anymore.”

The full caption read: “The yin to my yang. The opposite in almost every way, but we became instant best friends – and even though we're no longer on the same show together, our friendship is stronger than ever.”

In a second image, she shared a quote that talked about moving in “opposite directions”: “True friendship is when two friends can walk in opposite directions and still stay next to each other,” the quote read.

It's the end of an era for Heather Rae El Moussa and Selling Sunset. She shared a photo of herself with Bre Tiesi and wrote:

And Tiesi also commented on Heather's absence from the show. In July she said yes 'devastated' to lose her as a show regular.

“I absolutely adore Heather,” she shared E! News. “I'm very sad to hear she won't have such a big role.”

The mother-of-one played a smaller role in season seven of the show, something she found “frustrating” earlier this year.

“Season 7 is currently being filmed but I haven't had maternity leave and I was excited to get back to work and so far I haven't received a call back,” she shared E! News.

'It was a bit frustrating. So [I’m] I'm not sure what's going on,” she added after being asked how that made her feel.

Stepping away from Selling Sunset will allow her to focus on her family and The Flipping El Moussas, the HGTV show in which she and her husband Tarek El Moussa, 42, star.

Heather also said that her priorities have changed since she and Tarek welcomed their son Tristan in January and that she is enjoying the reduced drama in her life.

“I love being able to prioritize my family and my happiness and distance myself from the drama that Selling Sunset has brought into my life,” she said People last month.

“A lot of things have happened that I'd rather not talk about, but overall I'm very happy with the way my life is.”

Heather and her husband are putting all their creative energy into season two of The Flipping El Moussas.

She commented on the drastic difference on the set of her new show compared to Selling Sunset.

“I can now just film with my husband, without any drama,” she said Peopleand added with a laugh, “It's so incredible that I don't have to worry about fighting with a girl when I go to work.”
