- He surprised friends by showing up with his sister without telling anyone
Luke Littler has wasted little time in getting into party mode after flying to Benidorm to surprise friends less than a week after winning his first world title.
The 17-year-old Littler defeated Michael van Gerwen 7-3 in the final at Alexandra Palace last Friday, as he performed one better than twelve months earlier when he was defeated in the final by Luke Humphries.
After collecting a check for £500,000, Littler decided to fly to Benidorm with his older sister Caitlin, and his friends had no idea he was coming.
Caitlin posted to Instagram on Thursday the moment Littler wowed his friends, capturing the teen sensation walking through an outdoor bar in a black cap before approaching a table of friends.
One of his friends saw Littler and put his hands on his head in disbelief before hugging the darts star.
Caitlin, 22, captioned the video ‘love a good surprise’ as she shared the heartwarming moment with her followers.

His sister, Caitlin (pictured), captured the heartwarming moment and is becoming a star in her own right after amassing more than 27,000 followers on TikTok
She could soon become a star herself after amassing more than 27,000 followers on TikTok with a glimpse into her social lifestyle.
The beauty queen has previously admitted to bleaching her natural brown hair and getting lip fillers to achieve her desired look.
Caitlin has been tipped for reality TV stardom, with culture and branding expert Nick Ede previously telling The Sun that Luke and Caitlin could even become the ‘next Furys’ after the success of the Netflix show At home with the Furyswhich follows heavyweight boxer Tyson Fury and his family.
But for now, Caitlin is happy to have Luke in the spotlight, and she regularly posts about her brother’s achievements on social media.
In May, when Luke won the Premier League darts title for the first time, Caitlin told her Facebook friends she was the ‘proudest sister ever’.
She wrote on Facebook: ‘I actually have no words, what a birthday present! Proudest sister ever.
“Everyone is probably tired of me posting about Luke, but I can’t stand the fact that he’s just too good.”
She has now flown across Europe with Luke to celebrate his biggest victory yet.
It will have to be a short trip though as Luke is back in action next week at the Bahrain Open – a tournament he won last year.
