Young Brazilian Endrick made a dream debut in LaLiga on Sunday, with the 18-year-old scoring his first goal for Real Madrid in his team’s 3-0 win over Real Valladolid.

The youngster left Palmeiras for Real Madrid earlier this summer after the two clubs agreed an initial transfer fee of £62million in 2022. He was 16 at the time.

The highly-rated striker had to wait 584 days before he could be officially announced as Galactico, as FIFA rules prohibit players under the age of 18 from being transferred abroad.

But because Endrick’s birthday was already in July, he was officially allowed to join the Spanish club and it seems he has made a flying start.

The teenager, who is regarded as one of the most promising emerging football talents in the world, came on as a substitute for Kylian Mbappé at the Santiago Bernabeu with five minutes to go.

Real Madrid had taken a 2-0 lead in the match thanks to goals from Federico Valverde and Brahim Diaz.

Endrick scored his third goal in the 96th minute of the match, receiving a pass from Diaz and dodging two defenders before firing the ball low past the Valladolid keeper into the bottom right corner.

It was a beautiful strike, with the Real Madrid newcomer running to the corner flag to celebrate wildly with his teammates after scoring his first goal for the club.

There were also heartwarming scenes in the stands, with Endrick’s mother, Cintia, and her friend, Gabriely Miranda, hugging and bursting into tears after the 18-year-old found the net.

Endrick’s arrival at Madrid comes at a time when questions are being raised over how Carlo Ancelotti will structure his attack.

Madrid have a frightening array of talent at their disposal following the arrival of Mbappé this summer, but it seems their attackers are literally stepping on each other’s toes!

Marca recently announced that Jude Bellingham, Rodrygo, Vinicius Jnr and Mbappe all attempted to play on the left flank, with heatmaps showing all four players attempting to play in the same position.

There were questions over where Mbappe would play if he joined the club. The former Paris Saint-Germain star was backed by Ancelotti to play more centrally, with Vinicius Jnr and Rodrygo either side of him.

But it seems Madrid are still working on their style of play, as the Spanish giants drew 1-1 against RCD Mallorca in their opening LaLiga match last week.
