The young boy was standing near a fence when suddenly a large black bear walked up to him.
But in a moment of sheer courage, the little boy stood firm and continued to look at the bear, causing the animal to hesitate and stop walking.
A loyal passerby, who apparently saw that the child’s life was in danger, then appears, raising his arms in an intimidating manner and heading straight for the animal.

In the TikTok video shared by @ruderocaloha, viewers quickly saw how the man successfully scared the bear away in just a few seconds.
After the bear ran away, the child rode his scooter while the man checked to make sure there was no other danger to him or anyone else.
The boy’s mother, Brittany Hardy, shared part of the video on her TikTok page. She wrote about her son’s courage and thanked the man for all his help.
“My son wins the staring contest with the bear and runs away after the neighborhood visitor jumps in and scares the bear away. Thank you very much to this kind person for being there at the right time!’ she said.
