A shelter dog has received an outpouring of love and support after a heartbreaking video emerged of the animal seeing people pass by without adopting him.

Elias, the six-year-old Siberian husky, was filmed looking through the metal bars of his kennel at the Rancho Cucamonga Animal Care center in California.

The disturbing video was posted to Reddit’s “r/RescueDogs” thread two days ago by a user named “Stickysmithers.”

He wrote, “This is the life of an overlooked shelter dog. Many people pass kennels, take a look and move on to the next.

‘Unnoticed, forgotten. Adopt to save his life.”
