This is the heartbreaking moment an Air Canada plane bounces from wheel to wheel as it lands in Toronto after hitting turbulence seconds before landing.
The plane made a hard landing at Toronto Pearson Airport in Ontario, Canada, on Monday evening as it encountered heavy crosswinds.
In a video shared by Wake Turbulence Aviation, the Air Canada Boeing 777-300ER can be seen swaying back and forth just before landing.
The right wheel hits the ground first and then the plane tilts to the other side before finally balancing as it slowly comes to a stop.
You can hear the person filming the video say, ‘Whoa! Go around it’.

The pilot skillfully managed to stabilize the plane to avoid an emergency landing on the runway at the end of the 12-hour flight from Tokyo’s Narita International Airport.
Michael, the creator of the aviation channel, later posted the video to YouTube with the caption: ‘Very heavy wind gusts created a heartbreaking moment on the livestream! Brilliant flying saved this near miss!’
An Air Canada representative told Toronto news site blogTo that the flight “made a hard landing upon arrival at Toronto Pearson due to crosswinds.”
“Although the Boeing 777 aircraft taxied normally to the gate after landing, as a precaution it was taken out of service for a full inspection,” the airline added.
Fortunately, none of the 373 passengers were injured.
The video has been viewed more than 90,000 times, with one person commenting: ‘Terrifying is an understatement, especially if you were on the plane.’
