He had a bushy beard, messy hair and wore jeans and crocs as he wolfed down his lunch.

Linz co-starred with Scarlett Johansson in the film, playing a young boy left at home after Macaulay Culkin left the franchise following Home Alone 2: Lost in New York.

Home Alone 3 hit theaters in 1997 and was the first not to star Culkin as Kevin McCallister.

Instead, the filmmakers opted for an entirely new cast and enlisted eight-year-old Linz to play Alex Pruitt, a boy with chickenpox who foils a group of international criminals by booby-trapping his house.

But the film was not nearly as successful as the first two films.

It reportedly made $79 million at the box office, while Home Alone grossed $476 million and its sequel grossed $359 million.
