He should steal some brains! Bizarre moment thief nabs huge chair and potted plant from outside Miami home that he can barely fit inside his SUV

A brazen thief stole furniture from the porch of a Miami home in broad daylight, even taking a decorative plant, and then tried to get it all into his car.

Unknowingly, the entire robbery was captured on a home surveillance camera.

On November 9, images from Aramairon Perez’s Nest camera were uploaded to Instagram.

“8:36 am at my house, a shameless person robbed me,” she wrote in Spanish. “I share it so you know that you can no longer be calm.”

The footage shows an unknown man steering a metal Ford Expedition model into the driveway. He runs around to open the trunk before walking towards the porch – in full view of the camera.

The thief wears all black clothing, with a Miami Heat cap on his head and a cloth mask hiding his face. Tattoos cover the length of both arms.

The man takes a large wicker chair from the porch and carries it back to the car. He tries to load it sideways into the trunk, raising one leg for balance and striking a strange, flamingo-like position.

The brazen thief hesitates when he sees that his method isn’t working, adjusts his grip on the chair and tries to load it back in.

He drops it in the driveway for a moment and picks it up again after he regains energy. This time he tries to put him in the chair legs first, but the chair turns out to be too big. As he tries a different angle, a pillow falls to the floor.

The man pauses, gathers the last of his strength and slides it in sideways. However, the legs do not fit and rest on the edge of the torso.

The thief crouches and starts pushing with all his might. Finally he fits the seat sideways into the trunk.

With the first part of the haircut completed, he walks back to the porch and ducks out of view of the camera before reappearing with a potted palm.

He wrestles him back to the car and initially tries to put him sideways in the trunk, which doesn’t work, as the tree is longer than the entire width of the car.

He turns the palm over and pushes it angrily. Miraculously, it fits.

The man begins to walk back to the porch, but then seems to change his mind and returns to push the trunk closed, but it gets caught on some protruding palm fronds.

He pushes the door until it’s mostly closed and walks to the driver’s side. The video ends here.

Perez posted a follow-up video to her TikTok account the next day, panning her phone’s camera across the empty porch.

“Results from the robbery yesterday…now it makes me laugh, but yesterday it made me angry,” she wrote.

It is unclear whether a report has been filed with the police.
