Bruno Fernandes may have scored a goal and an assist against Aston Villa on Thursday night, but it was another incident in the game that most fans were talking about.
United fell behind twice in a thrilling second half, beating Aston Villa 4-2 in the third round of the Carabao Cup.
Fernandes played a key role in the win, but his performance was overshadowed by a rather embarrassing moment.

The 28-year-old ran into Villa defender Ezri Konsa during a restart and threw himself to the ground, prompting referee David Coote to give United another free kick.
Viewers immediately took to social media after seeing the replay, criticizing the Portugal international who clearly knew what he was doing.
“I’m ashamed of him,” one wrote, while another called him “the biggest cheat in football.”
Another was clearly fed up after what isn’t the first such incident, tweeting: ‘He needs to get in front of the cameras and explain his cheating’.

A smashing second half of Manchester United gave the hosts the 4-2 victory.
After an uneventful first half, the game came alive just after the break as Ollie Watkins gave Villa the lead, before the hosts went straight down to tie the score via Anthony Martial.
The chances kept coming and Villa re-took the lead after Diogo Dalot accidentally pushed the ball into his own net, after which United quickly equalized again and Marcus Rashford brought in the finish.
The game started as it approached the final stage and Fernandes, played by substitute Alejandro Garnacho, gave United the lead with a shot off the back of Villa defender Tyrone Mings 12 minutes from time.
Scott McTominay added a late fourth-place finish for United to seal an exciting victory over Villa, who defeated them 3-1 in the Premier League on Sunday.
