‘He looks like Ryan Gosling!’: Aaron Rodgers arrives for Tom Brady showdown with fresh new haircut

Two of the all-time NFL greats go head to head on Sunday as Tom Brady and Aaron Rodgers take on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Green Bay Packers.

And when the teams arrived at Raymond James Stadium, it was Rodgers who first captured attention by revealing that he’d had his hair cut and his long locks chopped off before the match.

The 38-year-old was photographed by the Green Bay Twitter account and, for the most part, fans were happy that their star quarterback was looking good.

“Aaron seems to be lying, Ryan Gosling.” wrote one fan in a funny comment.

Another said: ‘Handsome and best QB in the league.’

Brady, meanwhile, arrived with his high school yearbook photo on the back of his shirt.

“Greatness lasts forever,” read the photo of a young Brady.

Brady has a 3-1 winning record against Rodgers and the only time Rodgers enjoyed success at the Bucs QB was in 2014.

The 45-year-old will start Sunday’s game on reports that he broke two tablets during the Bucs’ win over the New Orleans Saints last weekend.

It has also been reported that the NFL wrote to every team in the wake of Brady’s actions saying that if such a gesture is repeated again soon, players will be punished.

Brady said on his podcast Monday, “I was pretty pissed.

“Unfortunately, I’ve had a pretty bad track record against that tablet. I forgot the password and I couldn’t log in, so those things can be frustrating.

“I didn’t do very well (keep calm), and I need to be very aware of that in the future and get my emotions in a good place so that I can be the best player I can be.

“I think there are points where you can get too emotional, which I definitely think I was (on Sunday).”

Brady and wife Gisele Bundchen are reportedly in marital trouble amid the legendary quarterback’s decision to retire and then retire this year

Brady and Rodgers both dominated the NFL offseason for different reasons.

Brady retired and did not retire 40 days later and has been going through problems in his marriage to wife Gisele Bundchen ever since.

She is reportedly unhappy that he returned to the sport, although reports earlier this week showed Brady is hopeful she will attend Sunday’s game – the first Bucs home game of the 2023 season.

Rodgers, meanwhile, caused a stir around the world earlier in the summer when he attributed his back-to-back MVP awards to the effects of the Amazonian psychedelic drug, which he first used during a trip to Peru in 2020.

He also admitted to taking ayahuasca again this year, even insisting that he has only enjoyed playing football since taking the hallucinogen.

“For me, it came down to a best friend from high school and I, playing golf and talking about his recent ayahuasca experience,” Rodgers explained on The Pat McAfee show.

Jordan, he inspired me to do it because I was looking for a deeper level of self-love.

Rodgers (right) lifted the lid on another recent ayahuasca experience this summer

‘I went to Machu Picchu in Peru and had magical experiences there, in the Sacred Valley. I had some really interesting evenings on the drug and came back a changed person.

‘I wanted to open myself up to do that again in a different setting, in a different place, with a different group. I did that again this off season and had an absolutely lovely experience. Sat for more nights this time, two the first time, three the second time.

“I had a very difficult night one, beautiful night two and then a mixed bag night three with a really nice closing ceremony. It changes the way you look at the world… you may feel more connected.”
