The body of Hayden Panettiere’s late brother, Jansen, was discovered in his New York home by three friends who found him “unresponsive” in a chair and desperately tried to revive him with CPR, a police report has revealed.
Friends of the actor and artist, whose shocking death on Sunday at the age of 28 left his sister ‘inconsolable’, were ‘concerned’ when Jansen failed to show up for a pre-arranged meeting and went to check on him at his home in Nyack . , a stone’s throw from the town of Palisades, where he and Hayden grew up.
Upon arrival, they found Jansen ‘sitting in an unresponsive chair’ and desperately began performing CPR in hopes of reviving him.
According to the report, a friend called 911, while another contacted Jansen and Hayden’s father, Alan ‘Skip’ Panettiere, who arrived on the scene while his son’s friends were doing chest compressions.
Skip told EMTs that he had spoken to his son “on the phone the night before” and that “it had sounded good.”
