‘Hawk Tuah’ girl Hailey Welch sells merchandise after going viral

The woman behind the viral ‘Hawk Tuah’ video has been identified as Hailey Welch and is now selling merchandise with her catchphrase.

Welch became famous for the video in which she used the term “Hawk Tuah” to describe spitting as part of a sexual act.

Since the interview was posted on June 19, the woman has become an internet sensation, spawning hundreds of memes.

Now she’s cashing in on her newfound fame and teaming up with Tennessee-based hat company Fathead Threads to sell her own line of hats, after being identified by Kick-out.

“I was given permission to sell these hats after speaking with Hailey. She will receive a portion of the profits from the sales,” Jason Poteete of Fathead Threads shared on Facebook.

The company posted a photo of Welch signing two different types of hats, one with a leather patch and one embroidered, that are available for purchase.

Unsigned embroidered “Hawk Tuah” hats go for $32.70, while signed caps retail for $43.70.

Hats with the leather “Hawk Tuah” patch and a signature cost $50 and unsigned versions cost $40.

Chelsea Bradford, the proud friend standing next to Welch in the video, shared the merchandise line on Facebook. “Finally someone who will give my girl a commission,” she wrote.

‘Hawk Tuah’ took the world by storm and captured fans’ attention during Bryson DeChambeau’s second round at the LIV Golf event in Nashville this weekend.

A clip of DeChambeau’s 3-wood shot went viral after a fan shouted the infamous phrase in response to him launching the ball toward the 10th hole on Saturday.

Commenters flooded Olivia Dunne’s Instagram comments section with the phrase when she posted bikini photos with MLB boyfriend Paul Skenes.

Among the comments was a GIF of Welch’s viral moment. Dunne responded to the comment on Sunday evening. “Leave Miss Tuah out of this,” the gymnast wrote.
