The CIA is currently looking for ultra-buff individuals to join their ranks as executive protection agents – but the role requires applicants to pass an annual fitness test that will make you sweat like never before.
The perfect candidate will complete an 18-month training program and should be able to do at least 27 sit-ups and 18 push-ups in one minute or less.
You’ll also have to carry a 168-pound doll to safety in less than two minutes, run a fast mile, and be extremely proficient in at least one of the CIA’s “critical” languages.

Additional fitness requirements mean that candidates must also be able to complete a one-mile run in 15 minutes and 20 seconds or less.
The person must also have a degree in criminal justice, criminology, sociology, emergency management, homeland security, police science, criminal justice administration or psychology, and at least three years of criminal investigation experience focusing on ‘complex cases ‘.
The successful candidate will join a team of existing officers providing 24/7 armed protection to personnel worldwide, 365 days a year.
This means that you must use the weapons and equipment provided to you during your work.
However, you should not plan to have a social life and say goodbye to your friends because you have to constantly be on the clock.
You have to work overtime, night shifts, weekends and holidays and always be available to travel abroad.
Anyone wishing to apply must also be over 18 years of age, a U.S. citizen, and willing to relocate to Washington, D.C.
The salary ranges from approximately $66,654 to $122,459, but you will be paid for overtime and also receive premium benefits.

Other requirements include that you have not used illegal drugs in the past, that you have extensive knowledge of criminal and administrative investigative techniques and that you can collect and analyze large amounts of data.
This successful candidate will also be able to identify the most important issues, draw appropriate conclusions and have foreign language skills.
The CIA’s “critical” languages include Arabic, Dari, Korean, Persian, Somali, Chinese, Indonesian, Pashto, Turkish, Urdu and Kurdish.
According to the CIA website: ‘Individuals who wish to learn how to become CIA agents in the agency’s clandestine services must complete the requirements for the Clandestine Service and Professional Trainee programs.
‘The Professional Trainee (PT) program (for staff officers and specialized skills – targeting officers) is intended for individuals with a bachelor’s degree without significant work experience. Most candidates are between 21 and 25 years old.

“The Clandestine Service (CST) Program (for Core Collectors, Operations Officers and Collections Management Officers) is intended for individuals with a bachelor’s degree and several years of business/military experience. Most candidates are between 26 and 35 years old.’
The ad reads: “As an Executive Protective Agent for the Central Intelligence Agency, you will be part of a team that provides 24/7/365 armed protection to intelligence community leaders around the world.
“You will serve in teams in foreign and domestic locations, liaise with foreign security officials, operate armored security vehicles, analyze threats to tailor protective profiles, and use issued weapons and equipment.
