Paxton Singleton was arrested as a minor on Friday on charges of loitering and possession of alcohol in Siloam Springs, Arkansas.
According to TMZthe 19-year-old actor paid the loitering charge, which had a $430 bond, and was released Saturday morning.
The Haunting Of Hill House star currently has a court hearing scheduled for February 29.
TMZ reached out to Singleton for comment on the situation, although they did not receive a response.
The actor is best known for his work as the younger version of Steven Crain in The Haunting Of Hill House, which was released on Netflix in 2018.
Paxton Singleton was arrested as a minor on Friday on charges of loitering and possession of alcohol in Siloam Springs, Arkansas.
The miniseries was based on Shirley Jackson’s novel of the same name, which was originally published in 1959.
The Haunting Of Hill House focused on a family who escaped from a mansion infested with poltergeists, only to encounter unexpected drama decades later.
In addition to Singleton, the series created by Mike Flanagan also starred Michiel Huisman, Carla Gugino and Timothy Hutton.
The Haunting Of Hill House, with a total of ten episodes, was released on Netflix on October 12, 2018.
The series has received widespread critical acclaim and currently has a 93% rating Rotten tomatoes.
A follow-up series, titled The Haunting Of Bly Manor, debuted on Netflix in October 2020.
Singleton spoke about working on the show during an interview with CinemaBlend and revealed that he had a particularly disturbing experience on the set of the series.
‘You know that feeling when you get goosebumps and you think, “If I slow down, the ghosts will get me.” I had exactly that feeling. Like I said, I could have just jumped out of my skin,” he said.

“This was one of the first big roles I ever auditioned for… we were praying and stuff, hoping we could book this role,” he said.
Singleton then admitted that he wasn’t really into horror movies and shows.
“Surprisingly, I’m not (a horror fan). I’m a scaredy cat. I can’t get through half of a horror movie. “I have tried so many times to finish one film without closing my eyes,” he said.
