Haunted Chocolatier development will continue once ‘Stardew Valley’s 1.6 update is handled,’ says ConcernedApe
Developer ConcernedApe has said he is working on his next game, Harried chocolatier, will continue when Stardew Valley‘s 1.6 update is complete.
Last week (March 20), ConcernedApe, aka Eric Barone, finally released the long-awaited and long-awaited 1.6 patch for its popular farming simulator, which introduced a bunch of exciting new content updates, including an eighth alternate farm, NPC dialogue, and festivals.
For now, the update is only available on PC via Steam and GOG, and the developer is currently hard at work to fix any issues players may be experiencing since its release, with several minor hotfixes already available.
With ConcernedApe’s full attention focused on the latest Stardew Valley update, some fans were wondering what the developer’s next title would be: Harried chocolatierwhich was announced in October 2021.
ConcernedApe moved to X (formerly Twitter). answers to a fan who asked about the progress of the game and confirmed that he will work on it again afterwards Stardew Valley 1.6 is completed (via GameSpot).
“I’m eager to get started with it again,” said ConcernedApe. ‘But I have to see it Star Dew 1.6 fixed, without bugs and to all platforms first.”
Update 1.6 has yet to be released for Xbox Game Pass, which ConcernedApe previously said is “coming soon,” as well as for PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, macOS, and mobile.
Harried chocolatier very similar in style Stardew Valleywith the same pixelated art style in terms of setting and characters, and will also feature the familiar crafting system, as well as some friendly ghosts that appear to help the player manage their chocolate shop.
Development updates for the upcoming indie game have been quiet for a while now. The most recent news we received about the game came in the form of an X after in August 2022 alongside a single screenshot, so we’ll probably have to wait a little longer for any word on a release date.
