New York police are searching for three attackers who jumped out of a vehicle and began punching and kicking a couple after yelling anti-Asian slurs at them.
The incident occurred around 2:30 p.m. Thursday in Flushing after a woman and two men got out of their vehicle near the intersection of Junction Boulevard and 38th Avenue.
Three unidentified people were caught on video jumping out of a white van and approaching the couple. Police said the group also yelled ‘ugly Asian’ at them.
The victims were taken to hospital with head injuries and the matter is still under investigation.

Crime Stoppers posted a video of the incident on Sunday and asked the public to help identify the people in the post.
The 34-second video shows the woman getting out of the passenger seat and beginning to throw her hands at someone off camera.
The car in question is an Acura SUV, which fled west on Roosevelt Avenue after the attack.
Police said the attacked man and woman were walking down the street before the trio came out and began attacking them.
At some point, the woman in the video also threw water at one of the victims.
The two involved in the attack were an Asian woman and a 24-year-old companion.
The NYPD Hate Crimes Task Force is now investigating.
Police are asking anyone who can identify any of the three people in the video to come forward with information.

A reward of up to $3,500 may be offered for information leading to an arrest.
The attack comes as New York City continues to see a crime wave.
